"Summer Rain" Botanical Blend
"Summer Rain" Botanical Blend
Peppermint, lemongrass and orange peel come together to form the perfect Summer Rain storm. Cooling peppermint and zesty orange peels invigorate the nose and waken the mind. Sweet lemongrass' soothing aroma relieves anxiety and balances the mood.
Summer Rain is a bright tea that can be enjoyed any time of day. It not only makes a delicious hot infusion, but also cold-brews easily in the refrigerator overnight. This is one of our favorite cold brews in our botanical collection. When made into a latte, it's the perfect comfort food before bedtime (see Brewing Recommendations).

Serving Size: 3g (2 tsp) per 100ml of purified water.
Ideal Brewing Vessel: Ethoz Tea Brewer; Glass Lotus Easy Gaiwan: Porcelain tea pot with strainer; Metal tea infuser or tea sachet.
Western Style Brewing (Recommended): Boil water to 205F/96C. Steep for 2 minutes in tea pot with strainer. Brew two additional times, steeping 4-6 minutes each time.
Gong Fu Style Steeping: Boil water to 205F/96C and then wait for the water to stop bubbling before pouring the water down the inside of the brewing vessel, not directly on the leaves. Brew for 1 minute with lid on the gaiwan. Place a strainer over the top of a gong dao bei (fairness pitcher) before pouring in the tea infusion. Then apportion the elixir into tea cups. Can be steeped again one more time. Re-steep Add 30 seconds for each subsequent brew. The lid should remain on the gaiwan between infusions to keep the leaves warm. Can be steeped one more time.
Cold Brew: 4g (3 pinches) per 450ml of cold water. Refrigerate overnight.
Latte: Steep 2 tsp per 120ml (4oz) of purified water (205F/96C) (try using our Ethoz Tea Brewer). Pour into a matcha bowl (chawan). Pour in steamed milk and top with frothed milk.
