Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of abundance, good fortune and beauty. She is often pictured seated on a lotus flower surrounded by decorative bowls brimming with coins, berries and fruit. She offers her bounty and blessings, and is the personification of Mother Nature.
The inspiration for Lakshmi's Bounty comes from our generous friend who brings us a variety of lemons, oranges, roses, hibiscus, chrysanthemums, and lemongrass that she plucks every Sunday morning on her little piece of paradise.
Lakshmi's Bounty is a long-leaf rooibus blend with fruit peels and flower petals inspired by Lakshmi's offerings and the lotus upon which she sits. Lotus flower pieces and peach nibs are blended with organic citrus fruit peels and dried currants for a drink that can be enjoyed as a hot beverage or as a cold-brewed tisane in the refrigerator overnight. This delightful blend can be sweetened naturally with a squeeze of lime or a spoonful of your favorite local honey.

Brewing Recommendations
Brewing Recommendations
Serving Size: 5g (2 tsp) per 150ml purified water.
Ideal Brewing Vessel: Glass tea pot with infuser; porcelain or ceramic tea pot with strainer; tea sachets
Steeping: Boil water to 212F/100C. Steep for 4-6 minutes before pouring the liquor into a tea cup. Add sweetener if desired.
Cold Brewing: Add 4-6g of Lakshmi's Bounty to a glass tea pot with a strainer. Add 450 ml (16oz/2 cups) cold water. Brew overnight in the refrigerator. Add sweetener if desired.
Sachet Brewing: Add 4-6g (2-3 tsp) of Lakshmi's Bounty to a tea sachet. Place the tea sachet inside of a pitcher and fill with 16 oz (2 cups) of purified water. Refrigerate overnight to allow time for the tisane infusion to reach its optimal flavor. Add sweetener if desired.
