At some point, every goddess needs a little pick-me-up.  Feed your inner spirit with botanical ingredients that compliment your framework.  Lemon and raspberry intermingle with soft lipa (linden) with a hint of earthy cinnamon.  Naturally sweetened with lemon verbena , lemongrass and stevia leaf.    

Raspberry leaf is essential in every diva's tea collection.  It is a protective plant whose leaf has many health benefits.  Raspberry leaf contains numerous vitamins (vitamins B, C, E, calcium, magnesium, and zinc), antioxidant compounds (bioflavonoids and tannins), and supports the digestive and uterine* systems.  The leaf contains frangine, which tones and tightens pelvic muscles and reduces menstrual cramps.  It is a natural diuretic, reducing water retention, cleansing the blood and detoxifying the body.  It relieves sore throat discomfort, mouth ulcers and gum disease.   

Lemongrass keeps our bellies flat as it aids in digestion, prevents gas formation and bloating, lowers hyperacidity, and piques the appetite.    

Like lemongrass, lemon verbena also aids in digestion, balances a constipated or diarrhetic gut, prevents gas formation and bloating.  Additionally, lemon verbena decreases joint inflammation, aids in sleep, helps with skin conditions, and eases colds, fevers and chills.

*Raspberry leaf can have estrogen-like effects and is not for people under the age of 18.  Because raspberry leaf stimulates uterine contractions and prepares the body for labor and delivery, it is not recommended for women during pregnancy unless otherwise advised by a treating obstetrician.

Tasting Notes

Brewing Recommendations

Serving Size*: 4g (3 tsp) of leaf per 150ml purified water.

Ideal Brewing Vessel: Glass tea pot with infuser; porcelain or ceramic tea pot with strainer; tea sachets

Western Style Steeping: Boil water to 212F/100C. Steep for 2 minutes before pouring through a strainer into a tea cup or pitcher.*

Sachet Brewing: Add 2-4g (1-2 tsp) of leaf to a tea sachet and place inside a mug filled with 212F/100C water. Steep for 2 minutes.

Cold Brew: Place 4g (2 tsp) of leaf in a pitcher and fill with 450ml water. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. Use a strainer when serving.

*Adjust the brew time, temperature and leaf volume to fit your taste: A lower temperature increases vegetal flavor; a shorter brewing time decreases astringency; and a lower volume of leaves reduces bitterness.
